Securing EU4+UK reimbursement in diagnostics

Client need

Initiate carried out a full in-licence asset evaluation leading to the client acquiring a diagnostic product. The client then needed to gain reimbursement in EU4+UK markets as quickly as possible, and commissioned us to conduct economic modelling, build a value dossier, and develop a sound value proposition.

Our response

We developed a bespoke cost-effectiveness and cost consequence model, alongside a value proposition and value dossier. We then deployed all collateral in a rapid timeframe and developed HTA submissions that focusing on the consequences of diagnosis. Submissions were carried out within 6 months in the EU4 and UK.

Client value

Reimbursement was secured in all markets within 12 months of submission and 18 months of project initiation. The client was able to expand reimbursement application process beyond the EU4+UK and enter second wave launches with Initiate as partners.
