Rapid deployment of an HTA development team

Our client approached us to help them in an emergency. Due to staff changes and communication issues, they found themselves needing to write a HTA submission to NICE and rebuild a global model in just 10 weeks. There was no value dossier, so any submission needed to be written from source materials. The client had huge pressure in terms of time, cost, and potential lost reputation.

The Initiate team took on the challenge and created an agile working group to deliver a HTA submission of the highest quality while sticking to incredibly tight deadline. We progressed the submission while carrying out a model rebuild and set up live review for the client to review and comment on the submission in real time. We also recruited external KOLs and health economists to provide validation of the submission.

The submission was made on time.

The client avoided reputational damage and delivered the project within a prescribed budget. The submission is currently under review, with no major issues identified so far. The client now views Initiate as their agency of record and are progressing several workstreams with us.
